Number of companies with foreign direct investment in Baja California had a dramatic fall of 46.8%

Tijuana, Baja California.- The number of companies with foreign direct investment (FDI) in Baja California had a dramatic fall of 46.8% in the past five years reported Centro de Estudios Economicos de Tijuana.

The study of the CETT called "Crisis of the foreign investment in Baja California", with figures from the national registry of investments, indicates that in the year 2007 the entity had registered 802 firms with FDI and the third quarter of this year there are only 427, i.e. 375 less in a downward trend that the Agency described as "worrying".

Adds the CEET that with regard to the end of 2011 the State has lost 99 companies, despite the multiple trips of promotion that have been made, so it made an urgent call to rethink promotion strategies to the inefficiency of the implemented.
